Welcome to the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology. We offer comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for patients with cancer and nonmalignant blood diseases with an individualized treatment plan for every patient based on a multi-disciplinary approach. Our Division has numerous clinical trials underway. We believe in exercising scientific rigor and translating research discoveries into innovative and more effective therapies.

Our clinical investigations strive to “translate” breakthrough research from the laboratory bench to the patient’s bedside. We focus on the most current developments in hematology/oncology, such as genetic medicine and anti-angiogenesis, while at the same time maintaining a broad view on the entire spectrum of cancer research. Weill Cornell’s Division of Hematology/Oncology offers a wide variety of cancer care options for patients with solid tumors, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, multiple myeloma, leukemia, or bone marrow failure. Our board-certified physicians offer state-of-the-art therapies that provide the best opportunities for successful treatment. Patients receive an individualized plan based on a multi-disciplinary team approach. Teams include the Division’s world-renowned specialists in medical oncology and hematology supported by surgeons, radiation oncologists, geneticists, specialized nurses, pharmacists, dieticians, social workers, and laboratory scientists. Our clinical expertise ensures that a patient receives the most comprehensive cancer treatment in an even more supportive environment.
