Washington Redskins – A Survivor at Every Camp

Richmond, VA. VCU Massey lung cancer survivor Donna Sarver and her husband John represented Team Draft at the Washington Redskins training camp in Richmond, VA. Donna was diagnosed with lung cancer in Decemeber 2011 and has been able to benefit from new treatments options.

Team Draft’s A Survivor at Every Camp is committed to creating a unique experience for participating survivors and to raise awareness on a local and national level by using each NFL Training Camp and each survivor’s story to weave a broader narrative about the state of lung cancer and the hope that now exists for those battling the disease.

Special thanks to the Washington Redskins and the VCU Massey Cancer Center for helping make this experience possible.
