facility has 172,000 square feet of space on 10 floors, where researchers have access to state-of-the-art equipment and resources.

Team Draft will also have a chance to meet with lung cancer survivors Johnny Brumfield and Madeline Borrouso. The LSU Health Sciences Stanley S. Scott Cancer Center is part of the Louisiana Cancer Research Consortium (LCRC), which includes the Tulane University Health Sciences Cancer Center, Xavier University, and the Ochsner Clinic Foundation. Approximately $10 million per year is being invested in the Consortium for the purpose of obtaining an NCI-designated, cross-institutional Comprehensive Cancer Center for residents of New Orleans and the surrounding regions. This is the latest stop on the campaign trail as we continue to educate people on the state of lung cancer and bring hope along the way.
