SLUCare, the clinical arm for the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, is a leading patient-centered, physician-guided provider of health care services in the St. Louis region. Guided by Judeo-Christian values and dedicated to excellent service in the Catholic Jesuit tradition, our central purpose is to support the mission of Saint Louis University by providing a setting for and financial support of health professions education and biomedical research.SLUCare physicians have a long and proud reputation for providing excellent care for patients with complex medical conditions, such as our state-of-the-art management of cystic fibrosis.

There geriatrics group is nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report. And the clinicians in our sleep disorder clinic are recognized as among the nation’s best by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. The first heart transplant in the region was performed by SLUCare doctors and the first cardiac catheterization laboratory in the region was established at Saint Louis University.

There  physicians have been involved in pioneering new techniques like the hybrid maze for the treatment of atrial fibrillation.

With ongoing research in the development of vaccines against influenza, our academic clinicians are recognized as some of the most prominent vaccine researchers in the country.
