DESCRIPTION:Wembley\, England\, UK. Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Cancer Centre lung cancer survivor-advocates James Jukes and Tracy Gordon will represent Team Draft at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. The survivors watched the Washington Redskins play   the Cincinnati Bengals to a tie\, in the final NFL UK\, game of the 2016 season in London. The survivors were joined by our co-founder and former Washington Redskin\, Chris Draft\, and CDFF Board member\, Bill Nash. \nTracy Gordon  \nI am very excited about the game. Hopefully the weather will be great. As for lung cancer yes I am very open minded to a change because I feel sufferers are cheated and don’t get a fair chance to fight this nasty disease. Looking at Keasha it breaks my heart because like me she looks like someone who loved and enjoyed life. She was struck down and is now gone too soon\, I am trying to be positive but i am only human and can’t help thinking about dying and leaving my boys I am all they have\, it’s always been a team of 4 and now they are struggling with the thought of losing me.Anyway I don’t need pity because I am determined to fight\, to raise awareness and to live as long as is possible.  \nI never one day thought I would have this lung disease but as we know anyone can have it. No matter how healthy you are. \nIn 2012\, we\, Team Draft\, launched our inaugural Survivor at Every Stadium initiative on CNN during a nationally-televised prime time special focusing on lung cancer and our National Campaign to Change the Face of Lung Cancer. \nLeveraging our connections with the NFL\, its teams and players and our relationships with many of the top cancer centers in the country\, As part of our National Campaign\, this celebration of survivorship raises lung cancer awareness\, gives hope to those battling the disease\, and shines a light on the important work being done at cancer research and treatment centers around the country. \nTeam Draft’s goals are to create a unique experience for participating survivors and to raise awareness on a local\, national\, and international level by using each game and each survivor’s story to weave a broader narrative about the state of cancer and the hope that now exists for those battling the disease. \nJimmy Jukes \nWe met in London on Saturday morning as strangers and parted company tonight has friends.\nChris and Billy thank you for today\nAnd thank you for what your foundation is doing for us cancer survivor’s. \nMy hat is off to you both.\nSafe journey back over the pond \nSpecial thanks to the NFL\, NFL UK\, Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Cancer Centre\, Dr. Rohat Lal\, Astra-Zeneca and our Team Draft supporters for helping make this experience possible. \nDonate now to Support the National Campaign to Change the Face of Lung Cancer! \n  \n \n
