DESCRIPTION:St. Charles\, MO. Team Draft will visit  SSM St. Joseph Medical Park\, and get a clinical perspective on lung cancer treatment and prevention\, from Radiation Oncologist Thomas S. Chung\, MD\, and other SSM Cancer Care employees. \nIn order to understand the state of lung cancer\, Team Draft has committed to visiting both academic and community cancer centers throughout the country. Annually\, eighty percent (80%) of lung cancer patients are treated in community cancer centers.  \nAbout SSM Cancer Care \nA service of SSM Health Care – St. Louis\, SSM Cancer Care is a dedicated “cancer hospital” ― not restricted to a single site\, but to six SSM hospital locations across St. Louis and St. Charles counties. Each location offers patient-focused diagnosis\, consultation and treatment\, chemotherapy\, radiation therapy\, support services (nutrition counseling\, social services and physical therapy)\, early detection screenings and support groups.
